Joint discomfort is common in the small joints of the hands and feet, elbow, shoulder, knees, hip joints and spine.

Predisposing factors include age, overuse, unilateral physical activities, injuries, obesity, and other medical conditions. Its common symptoms include joint stiffness in the morning, night pain, pain that has existed for several months, which decreases with activity and anti-inflammatory, while too much physical activity and prolonged rest can aggravate the symptoms. Joint pain not only impairs the function of the exact joint, but can also cause impairment of musculoskeletal function in other joints and soft parts of the body. Severe joint pain can affect quality of life. Physical therapy techniques therefore aim to restore the affected activities and functions. Therapies include individual complex physical therapy, lymphatic massage, manual techniques – soft tissue treatment, trigger point therapy, cupping therapy and the application of kinesio tape.
